Led Zeppelin Tribute band "Whole Lotta Led" in concert at the Ironworks, Inverness on Saturday 26th August 2006.
Lee Addison (Lead Vocals)
Nick Ferris (Lead Guitar)
Graham Twist (Drums)
Geoff Hunt (Bass & Mandolin)
The band don't claim to look like Led Zeppelin; they just play the music. Close your eyes and you hear Led Zeppelin. From anthems such as Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love to quiet ballads like The Battle for Evermore and quirky numbers like Custard Pie they brought the music of Led Zep alive to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience, most of whom would never have had the opportunity of seeing Zeppelin play live.
The Ironworks is a new, purpose-built music venue in Inverness which only opened three weeks previously. It's already becoming the premier venue for live music in the Highlands.
With a maximum capacity of 1,000 (standing) or 600 (seated) it bridges the gap between pubs and stadia. Big enough to cater for a reasonably sized audience and yet intimate enough to be totally involved with the music.
Wayne Mackenzie (of Wolfstone), manager of the venue, may be contacted on 01463 718555 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
