A day of dreams......invited by The Queen to enjoy "Party At The Palace" in the grounds of Buckingham Palace on Saturday June 3rd 2002.
One of the Queen's Concerts held in the Queen's 'back garden' in honour of the Queen's Golden Jubilee, Party At The Palace (the other concert was Proms At The Palace) brought together pop and rock artists for a veritable feast of musical entertainment.
A hamper was provided for each guest; this included Coronation Chicken, a half bottle of champagne and two vouchers for a pint of Real Ale. Also thoughtfully provided was a rain jacket, should the weather turn inclement. It didn't.
